Now

Last updated: January 2026

This is a now page — a snapshot of what I’m currently focused on.

Building

  • Mastra agent workflowsMastra is my go-to agent orchestration framework. I’ve shipped several Mastra agents and am deeply focused on improving my workflows and architecture. More experiments coming soon.

    • Mastra Surreal Starter — A starter template for building AI agents with Mastra and SurrealDB. Semantic memory, cross-thread recall, and persistent context. Built and tested with agent MVPs.
  • Obsidian workflow — A personal knowledge system built on top of Obsidian for collaborating with AI (mainly Claude Code) and adding continuity across sessions. Focused on building and iterating my theories around context management and collaboration modalities. Includes slash commands, templates, hooks, to build a workflow with handoffs, checkpoints, and context that carries forward.

  • Semantic collaboration layers — Exploring how knowledge graphs and semantic memory can support human-AI collaboration. The goal: AI that understands not just what you said, but the evolving context of what you’re building together. Researching and testing collaboration modalities is my current core focus area.

Practicing

I work with Claude Code daily in what I’d call a “cyborg” style — deep integration where the human-AI boundary gets fluid. I started this year with a “centaur” approach and have moved more toward cyborg flows. The article Centaurs and Cyborgs on the Jagged Frontier by Ethan Mollick greatly influenced my thinking and work this year. I focus on collaboration more than task delegation. It’s about thinking together and compounding returns.

I write in my Obsidian digital garden daily and collaborate with Claude to surface insights across my notes and seeds. This site is where I share curated insights over time.

The artifacts above emerged from that practice and I’ll be sharing several posts and articles as I refine my digital garden.

Exploring

  • AI orchestration patterns (Mastra, agent architectures, workflows)
  • Tools for thought that change how we think and collaborate
  • What it means to build with AI rather than just using AI

Writing

Sharing more publicly in 2026. I’ll be actively working on this goal through this site, Twitter, and open-sourcing the tools I’ve built on GitHub. I intend to make my private work more visible this year.
